Personal Services
I personally provide editing and proofreading services for my clients. I proofread and/or edit just about everything, but specialize in the following labor intensive editing services: Fiction and Non-Fiction Books, Ebooks, Catalogs, Employee Manuals, Corporate Reports, Restaurant Menus, Recipe Books, Articles, Sermon Notes with Scripture References, Advertising and Sales Flyers. I am meticulous at the details. Accuracy is important when your reputation is on the line.
All editing is performed in Microsoft Word .doc and .docx formats. I can also manually proofread and edit your printed documents.
Refund Policy
All proofreading and editing services are pre-paid before I begin any project. Long-term projects require a weekly or monthly deposit until the project is completed.
I am a contract laborer, not an employee. My services are for labor. I do not create or sell a physical product that can be returned unused. Once a project has been completed and the edited document has been delivered to a client, my labor services have been fulfilled. Therefore, I DO NOT offer a refund on my labor.
However, I will make as many revisions that are required to make you happy with the results, based on my hourly rate.
Once you have received the edited document, you have the ability to make changes, create additional errors, or delete sections of your text before it is published. I will not be responsible for any actions you or any of your employees do to the document after I have delivered it to you. However, I save the original and all of my versions of your documents, so you will have access to any of the previous versions if necessary.
My goal is to provide professional editing services that will make you look like a professional to the world.
Purchases on Third-Party Affiliate Websites
Louis Hatchett offers advice and recommendations on products and services that are provided by third-party vendors who have their own refund policies posted on their respective websites. I will not be held liable for any purchase of a product or service you make on a third-party vendor.
Liability Disclaimer
Louis Hatchett and the Company’s agents, employees and representatives shall not be liable for a failure or delay to fulfill its obligations for contracted services where the failure or delay is the result from any cause beyond the Company’s reasonable control; including technical failures, natural disasters, blockages, embargoes, riots, acts of violence, curfews, COVID lockdowns, hacker attacks, terrorist acts, war, electrical grid failure, internet failure, phone and email service failure, government regulations, legislation, orders of government, earthquakes and natural disasters, or any other force outside the Company’s control.
